How seriously can you take this list when it leaves off Talking Heads, Buzzcocks, and CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL! Not very seriously. The perennially underrated Kinks are listed way down at 64. I can’t say there are any turkeys included, but it’s a joke that CCR wasn’t listed in the top 30. Also, no Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Flatlanders, George Jones.

But it’s somewhat interesting, nonetheless, because some of the entries include tributes from famous fans.
